This important role will safely perform start-up, commissioning, plant operations, testing, maintenance, administrative functions and other duties as assigned for a power plant consisting of three GE LM6000 gas turbine generators, two heat recovery steam generators, one steam turbine generator, and balance of plant auxiliary equipment.
SALARY RANGE: $30.67 - $46.13 per hour (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously (67% or more) required to: stand, stand and bend forward, walk, bend, climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, maintain hand and eye coordination, maintain hand and foot coordination with grasping of hands, hear, smell, talk, work at elevated heights, and have visual acuity to operate machinery and equipment. Employee is frequently (34-66%) required to: balance, move hands in repetitive motion, kneel, move and extend neck, reach above and below the shoulder, and use a respirator. The employee may occasionally (less than 33%) be required to: sit, and bend forward while sitting. Employee must be able to operate job related equipment and tools. Must be able to routinely perform this work for an average of 8-12 hours per day and occasional extended hours as necessary. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work environment: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors subject to sometimes high temperatures. Must also be able to routinely perform work outdoors in sometimes inclement weather with moderate to high noise level. Worker may be subject to hazards including variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working in places of height, or close quarters (i.e., crawl spaces, small enclosed rooms, narrow aisles of passageways), as well as maneuver in, over, or around obstacles. Worker may be subject to vibration, such as oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body. No travel is required for this role.
