This important role directly supports the Shareholder Services Department in all shareholder service areas and equity compensation plan administration. Responsible for supporting Treasury Department in other critical activities including cash management, capital markets, credit, pension or investor relations where needed.

SALARY RANGE:   $53,050 - $79,650 (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.)

  • Administer all equity compensation plans such as Restricted Stock/Restricted Stock Units, Performance Share Plan, Short-term Incentive Plan and any other equity plan that may be implemented by the Compensation Committee.  Process grants, vestings, forfeitures and cancellations of equity awards.  Prepare equity award agreements and all correspondence with participants, enter applicable data and generate reports.
  • Administer the Dividend Reinvestment and Direct Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Prepare correspondence and common stock issuance instructions to the transfer agent.
  • Process monthly stock purchases for the Board of Directors.
  • Calculate shareholder basis in common stock.
  • Respond to shareholder stock inquiries and questions from equity compensation plan participants. 
  • Prepare and file Forms 3, 4 and 5 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
  • Responsible for all accounting within Shareholder Services including calculation of expense, preparation of accounting entries for activities, completion of monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for all Shareholder Services general ledger accounts, preparation of accounting research associated with equity compensation and assistance with footnote disclosure for the Form 10-K.  Update and maintain all spreadsheets used in preparing the Equity Roll-forward, Cash flow, and Stockholder’s Equity.
  • Respond to regulatory requests through provision of data and explanation of company processes and plans.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls. 


  • Seek ways to continually improve processes related to the Shareholder Services area as well as other areas within the Treasury Department.
  • Support various areas of the Treasury Department such as Cash Management, Capital Markets, Credit, Pension and Investor Relations, as needed.
  • Establish strong relationships across the company to advance effective communication and coordination across departments and companies.
  • Support the Company’s strategic objectives including our mission, vision and values.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting required, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • CPA or CEP designation a plus.


  • Knowledge of various equity compensation plans.
  • General knowledge of accounting and stock related issues.
  • Competent level of knowledge related to business and accounting procedures and methods.
  • Competent knowledge of spreadsheet software in relationship to financial and operational processes.
  • Strong Excel and/or database capabilities required.
  • Experience working with Hyperion Essbase/SmartView a plus.
  • Experience working with a large accounting software system – PeopleSoft Experience a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills.  
  • Exercise good business judgment in complex interrelated business issues.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Products, particularly MS Excel.
  • Ability to function as part of a collaborative team.
  • Must have strong computer and analytical skills.  
  • Capability to complete detailed review of information presented and identify risks and opportunities.  
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously (67% or more) required to: use fingers and hands, communicate, and have close visual acuity. Employee is frequently (34-66%) required to: ascend/descend stairs, position self to access lower items, and move about the office. The employee may occasionally (less than 33%) be required to: push, pull and reach. Employee must be able to operate routine office equipment including computers and similar equipment. Must be able to routinely perform this work for an average of 6-8 hours per day and occasional extended hours as necessary. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include:  Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or continuously to lift, carry, push, pull or sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Work environment:  Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.  Must be capable of occasional travel (less than 10 days per year) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities.
